WHEN IS THE EXPIRY DATE?

Bunny Blanc products have a shelf life of 2 years unopened. Once opened, the product can be kept for 12 months. It is best to use Bunny Blanc products immediately to ensure optimal freshness of the plant-based active ingredients. Beyond this time period, external radicals and particulate material could contaminate the products. Bunny Blanc does not include preservatives apart from our Dreamy Sun Milk and Care + Protect UV Hand and Nail Cream which contain 0.02% phenoxyethanol to stabilize and preserve the UVA and UVB filters.

HOW TO STORE THE PRODUCTS?

Our products should be stored in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight, ideally at a temperatures not exceeding 25°C. It is even highly recommended to keep them in a refrigerator to keep the ingredients fresher for longer and for a more soothing application, especially for the Jelly Serum and BB Blue Moisturizer which will feel slightly cooling once applied on clean skin. 

 

WHO CAN USE OUR PRODUCTS?

Our All-in-One BB Soap Bar, Jelly Serum, and BB Blue Moisturizer are safe for ages 13 and above, including pregnant and breastfeeding women. 

Our Dreamy Sun Milk and Care + Protect UV Hand and Nail Cream are safe for ages 13 and above but cannot be used by pregnant and breastfeeding women. This is because of a lack in scientific and medical data establishing the risks or non-risks of UVA and UVB filters used in our ingredients. 

Bunny Blanc products are overall suitable for people with sensitive, dry, normal, and oily skin. Please be mindful that our products do not claim to alleviate or treat any form of acne, psoriasis, rosacea, urticaria, or other dermatological conditions. Therefore, our products may not be suitable for people experiencing these conditions. 

WHY IS THERE PRODUCT DISCOLORATION?

Bunny Blanc products all use naturally-derived botanical ingredients for fragrance, color, and skin benefits. Additionally, our products are free from common harsh chemical preservatives such as parabens and phthalates due to its associated health-related risks.

Users may notice that over time, discoloration may be observed for the Jelly Serum, BB Blue Moisturizer, and All-in-One BB Soap, specifically;

That the Jelly Serum may have a slight yellowish-orange tint over time due to the use of floral and plant-based ingredients and its natural oxidation process.

That the BB Blue Moisturizer’s light blue tint fades into a pale indigo over time due to the natural oxidation of Butterfly Pea extract, which is used in the product to achieve its signature blue color and for its antioxidant properties.

That the All-in-One BB Soap attains a more cream-colored tint due to its plant-based blend of ingredients for whitening/ brightening the skin.

The discolorations have been initially observed at the 8th week in the stability oven by our laboratory and have been reported in chemical stability tests. Findings indicate that the oxidation process of plant-based ingredients which causes discoloration do not affect product performance, nor does it significantly alter or affect the pH level of each product. The products retain its individual safety and efficacy even with a slight change in color. In addition, yellowing is commonly observed in cosmetic products containing ingredients of natural origin. It is further implied that the exposure of our products to sunlight (UV) and high temperatures hasten the discoloration process. To maintain a clear transparency, we recommended storing our products in cool, dark areas not exceeding 25°C, such as air-conditioned rooms and even in refrigerators if desired. 

ARE YOU FDA APPROVED?

Bunny Blanc has an approval for License to Operate under the FDA. Below is our official certificate. Some details are blocked for confidentiality.

As of February 24 2025, our products are individually granted FDA Cosmetic Product Notification. These can be viewed in our product description showcase.

Our products contain up to 1% niacinamide.

DOES BUNNY BLANC TAKE INTERNATIONAL ORDERS?

At the moment, we are only able to accommodate orders placed within the Philippines. Please stay tuned for international shipping in the near future. Thank you for your support!

 

ARE OUR PRODUCTS NON-COMEDOGENIC AND/OR HYPOALLERGENIC?

As per our R&D team, based on the materials used in our products, the risk of pore clogging is low. However, even with low comedogenicity, Bunny Blanc products have not undergone comedogenicity testing due to some tests needing animal subjects, which we are strongly against. 

We still recommend patch testing before use, as ingredient tolerance varies from person to person most, if not all cases.

The same applies to our hypoallergenic claim, but please be aware of your own allergies. We use mostly plant-based ingredients in our products such as Tea extracts, Fruit extracts, and Flower extracts. For safety reasons, we have provided our full ingredients list per product in the product features.
